Volunteers

Below is a list of current volunteer opportunities with Columbus Audubon.

Columbus Audubon Nature Center

Audubon Ohio seeks volunteers to help with organizational activities
for the Columbus Audubon Nature Center. Volunteers need to go in to the office on High Street in the Short North to help with information collection and input. Help collect curriculum ideas and plan for the 2006 Urban Conservation Crew program; update marketing and business plan; collect and organize information to be posted on the Web site (does not require Web or programming knowledge). Any number of hours per week appreciated, but looking for an ongoing commitment. Please contact Center Director Heather Starck at (614) 224-3303.

Education Outreach

If you like to share your love of nature with others, we have a place for you on the CA education committee! As chairperson, I would like to develop a team of CA members with a passion for education outreach to work with me to make CA a premier organization of education-based community outreach. If you would like to be part of the team, please call me, Susan Setterlin, at (614) 457-8130. You'll be glad you did!  Sue Setterlin

Help Conserve Habitat

The Columbus Audubon conservation committee gets involved on behalf of local, state and national conservation issues selected by the committee members. For example, the conservation committee was responsible for evaluating and shepherding the donation of Calamus Swamp. If you would like to serve on this committee please contact Dave Horn at (614) 262-0312 or conservation@columbusaudubon.org.
