2007 Birdathon! Prizes

All participants who get their money in by Friday, May 26 will be eligible to win one of these 2 grand prizes. In addition to great birding and raising money for the Whittier project, these prizes should encourage you to form your own team.

A one night's stay at The Campbell Cottage on the North Shore of Kelly's Island.

Owners Bill and June Campbell are birders in their own right and actively involved in birding associations on Kelley's Island. It was an added bonus to discover the Campbells feel a kindred interest in what the Birdathon is all about. Highlights from the Campbell Cottage web site:

A full breakfast is served on the spacious front porch, weather permitting, or in front of the crackling fire on chilly days.
Bicycles, single-speed coater-brake style, are provided for guests to explore the wooded back roads and travel to "downtown" and the beach.
"Sunsets are our specialty, because Lake Erie sunsets are so beautiful and best seen from our front porch or yard."
Coffee, iced tea or lemonade, and homemade cookies are available all day. A special "guest refrigerator" is stocked with beverages and juices and will keep your own beverages and snacks chilled.
Only a few years old, Campbell Cottage has all the modern conveniences plus "old fashioned" amenities.
