A four-hour drive brings us to Allegheny Front in western Pennsylvania, a small, quiet hawkwatch site. It is situated along the same mountain range as Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. Our trip dates were selected to match the migration of a wide variety of raptors, with up to 15 species observed in previous Octobers.
We will also have the opportunity to visit the Flight 93 Memorial, located directly on the way to the hawkwatch site.
Arrival and departure times are flexible to meet your schedule. You can arrive any time up to noon on Saturday, October 6, when we meet as a full group. Departure is on your own schedule on Sunday, October 7. Carpooling is encouraged, but you will need to make your own arrangements.
This trip is limited to 10 participants and advance registration is required by September 16. To register or for more details, contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it (614-769-1681).EventList powered by schlu.net
